Ensemble Studio Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Team for Bump

Ensemble Studio Theatre and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Chiara Atik's Bump, running at the Curt Dempster Theatre May 9-June 4, with opening night set for May 17.
Gilbert Cruz, Vanessa Aspillaga (Amy and the Orphans), Ana Nogueira (The Vampire Diaries), Lucy DeVito (Hot Mess), Jenny O’Hara (Transparent), Kelly Anne Burns, Kelli Lynn Harrison, Erica Lutz, Kristen Adele, Laura Ramadei, Susan Hyon, and Jonathan Randell Silver will star in the production. Under the direction of Claudia Weill, the creative team will include Kristen Robinson (set design), Gina Scherr (lighting design), Suzanne Chesney (costume design), and M.L. Dogg (sound design).
Bump, according to a press release, "follows three different stories of three separate quests for knowledge, all about one thing. A girl in colonial New England, expectant mothers on a pregnancy message board, and a mechanic about to become a grandfather all attempt to discover more about the miracle of childbirth."
