Doctor Faustus Revival, Starring The Good Wife's Chris Noth and Zach Grenier, Extends

Classic Stage Company has announced an extension for its upcoming revival of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus. Originally scheduled to end its run on July 2, the drama will now play through July 12.

The cast is headed by The Good Wife stars Chris Noth and Zach Grenier as Faustus and Mephistopheles, respectively. The company also includes Jeff Binder, Ken Cheeseman, Carmen M. Herlihy, Walker Jones, Geoffrey Owens, and Lucas Caleb Rooney.

Adapted by David Bridel and Andrei Belgrader from Christopher Marlowe's classic play, Doctor Faustus tells the story of a man who makes a pact with the devil in exchange for boundless knowledge and endless gratification, but at a terrible price. Scenic design is by Tony Straiges, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and costume design by Rita Ryack and Martin Schnellinger.

Previews for Doctor Faustus begin May 29, with opening night set for June 18. Belgrader directs the production.
