Disney and Stravinsky Go Head-to-Head in New Drama Small World

59E59 Theaters will present the New York premiere of Frederick Stroppel's Small World, directed by Joe Brancato. Produced by Penguin Rep, the production runs September 13-October 7.

A behind the scenes look at the creation of the legendary animated film Fantasia, Small World imagines a meeting between Walt Disney and Igor Stravinsky, after Disney first hears The Rite of Spring.

The cast features Stephen D'Ambrose as Stravinsky and Mark Shanahan as Disney. The design team includes James Fenton (scenic designer), Christine Watanabe (lighting designer), Patricia E. Doherty (costume designer), and William Neal (sound designer).
