The Public Theater has announced the complete cast for Mother of the Maid. Dermot Crowley, Kate Jennings Grant, Andrew Hovelson, Daniel Pearce, and Grace Van Patten will join the previously announced Glenn Close in the New York premiere of Jane Anderson's play, directed by Matthew Penn.

In addition, the production, originally scheduled to run through Sunday, November 18, has been extended two weeks, and will now run through Sunday, December 2. It will officially open on Wednesday, October 17.

Mother of the Maid, according to a press release, "tells the story of Joan of Arc's mother (Glenn Close), a sensible, hard-working, God-fearing peasant woman whose faith is upended as she deals with the baffling journey of her odd and extraordinary daughter."
