Corey Stoll and Cast of Othello Celebrate Opening Night

The Public Theater’s free Shakespeare in the park production plays through June 29.

The Public Theater's free Shakespeare in the Park production of Othello opened Monday, June 18, at the Delacorte Theater. Tony winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson directs the production, running through June 24. Check out photos from opening night in the gallery below.

Chukwudi Iwuji stars as Othello alongside Heather Lind as Desdemona and Corey Stoll as Iago. The rest of the cast includes Peter Jay Fernandez (Duke of Venice), Motell Foster (Roderigo), Andrew Hovelson (Lodovico), David Kenner (ensemble), Tim Nicolai (ensemble), Flor De Liz Perez (Bianca), Miguel Perez (Brabantio), Thomas Schall (Montano), Caroline Siewert (ensemble), Babak Tafti (Cassio), Peter Van Wagner (Gratiano), and Alison Wright (Emilia). The non-equity ensemble features Kevin Rico Angulo, Christopher Cassarino, Lily Santiago, and Allen Tedder.

Othello features scenic design by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Jane Cox, sound design by Jessica Paz, and music composition by Derek Wieland.
