Be More Chill Full Cast Announced

Fans of Joe Iconis’s upcoming musical ”Be More Chill” can also purchase the vinyl cast recording on July 27.

The long-awaited off-Broadway debut of Be More Chill, which will run July 26-September 23, has announced complete casting for the New York premiere production.

Tiffany Mann (Waitress) will play Jenna, Britton Smith (Shuffle Along) will play Jake, and Cameron Bond (Finding Neverland), Troy Iwata (The Boy Who Danced on Air), and Talia Suskauer (Love in Hate Nation) will be the company swings.

Previously announced cast includes members from the 2015 Two River Theater production ensemble and original cast recording, Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening) as Rich, Katlyn Carlson (Dirty Dancing) as Chloe, Stephanie Hsu (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Christine, Lauren Marcus (The Humans at St. Louis Rep) as Brooke, George Salazar (Tick, Tick…BOOM!) as Michael, Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen) as Jeremy, Jason Tam (If/Then) as The Squip, and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Freaky Friday) as Jeremy's Dad and Mr. Reyes.

Additionally, the Be More Chill cast recording will be released on vinyl from Ghostlight Records on Friday, July 27. This release will coincide with the show's New York premiere production, which starts previews on Thursday, July 26. The show features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis, book by Joe Tracz, and is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini.

As previously reported, fans who preorder the vinyl through PledgeMusic will be the first to receive the vinyl double gatefold package, which features new illustrative designs, green and red colored discs, and a booklet with lyrics, production photos, and a new liner note from Joe Iconis.

The New York premiere of Be More Chill will be directed by Stephen Brackett and choreographed by Chase Brock in its limited 9-week, off-Broadway engagement. It will take place at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center, opening August 9.

Be More Chill had its world premiere in an extended run at Two River Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.
