Peter Rothstein's All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 will see its off-Broadway premiere at the Sheen Center this fall, running November 9-December 30.

Inspired by a true story, All Is Calm is set during Christmastime during World War I. A German soldier begins to sing "Stille Nacht." Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace, featuring ballads and carols from England, Wales, France, Belgium, and Germany with texts written by more than 30 World War I figures.

Written and directed by Rothstein, with musical direction by Erick Lichte and vocal arrangements by Lichte and Timothy C. Takach, the production features costume design by Trevor Bowen, lighting design by Marcus Dilliard, and sound design by Nicholas Tranby. Casting will be announced at a later date.

All Is Calm premiered on Minnesota Public Radio in 2007 and has since been seen in more than 50 cities.
