Christine Pedi to Star in Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage!

Christine Pedi will play the title role in Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage!, which performs Off-Broadway at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre at Sofia’s, beginning with the Saturday, October 29 performance.

Written by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg, the show is based on Abigail Grotke’s popular book of the same name that promises “classic advice for contemporary dilemmas.” Davenport also directs

The cast includes Eddie Gutierrez as Miss Abigail’s assistant, Paco. The production features scenic design by Hilary Noxon, costume design by Abbi Stern and lighting design by Graham Kindred.


The show’s current star Joyce DeWitt will play her final performance on October 8. Prior to the start of Pedi’s run, the role will be played by Laurie Birmingham.

Pedi has a long association with the satirical revue Forbidden Broadway, and received a Drama Desk nomination for Forbidden Hollywood. Her Broadway credits include Talk Radio and Little Me. She also currently stars in NEWSical the Musical, and in December will once again present her holiday show, There’s No Bizness Like Snow Bizness.
