Robert Newman to Join Cast of Cause Célèbre’s Women of a Certain Age

Robert Newman will replace the previously reported Larry Pine in Cause Célèbre and Mary J. Davis’ production of Susan Charlotte’s Women of a Certain Age, to run April 26-June 10 at The Beckett Theatre, Theatre Row. Antony Marsellis will direct.

In the play, three women and one man, ranging from forty to eighty, face the challenges presented by different stages in life with humor.

The cast will also feature Drena De Niro, Lois Markle, and Rosemary Prinz. The design team will include James Wolk (set design) and Dennis Parichy (lighting design).

Newman is best known for his work on TV’s Guiding Light. During his 28 year run on the show, he was nominated for four Soap Opera Digest Awards and two Emmy Awards. Previous stage credits include the New York production of Sessions.
