Robert De Niro, Alan Menken, and More to Be Honored by Paper Mill Playhouse

Robert De Niro, Chazz Palminteri, and the creative team behind the new musical A Bronx Tale will be honored at Paper Mill Playhouse's annual gala, set to take place Friday, May 6 at the Hilton Short Hills.
The evening will feature performances from cast members of A Bronx Tale and the upcoming West Side Story, as well as Paper Mill vet and The Wiz Live star Shanice Williams.
The full list of honorees includes De Niro, Palminteri, Alan Menken, Glenn Slater, Sergio Trujillo, and Jerry Zaks, who will all receive the Frank Carrington Excellence in the Arts Award. Governor Brendan T. Byrne will be presented with a lifetime achievement award for his long-standing commitment to Paper Mill Playhouse and the arts in New Jersey.
A Bronx Tale at Paper Mill Playhouse broke box office records for the theater earlier this season.
