The Wexner Center for the Arts has announced the programming planned for its 2012 fall season.
Programming highlights include the world premiere of Bebe Miller Company’s dance theater work A History (September 27-30); The Intergalactic Nemesis Book One: Target Earth (October 12), a live-action graphic novel for all ages; The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart (October 21-November 2) presented by the National Theatre of Scotland; and a conversation between Harry Belafonte and Ohio State’s Michelle Alexander about Belafonte’s life, career, and activism (October 26).
Other performing arts programming will include Palissimo’s The Painted Bird Trilogy: Bastard, Amidst, and Strange Cargo (September 12-16), São Paulo Underground (September 23), Neil Cowley Trio (October 13), The Builders Association’s Sontag: Reborn, and Mary Halvorson Quintet.
In addition, the center will present Creative Engines: A Conversation with Sergio Marchionne and John C Jay on October 8, featuring the CEO of Chrysler/Fiat (Marchionne) and ad agency professional John Jay discussing innovation, bold creative practice, reshaping a brand, and more.
