PHOTO FLASH: Laura Benanti, Tate Donovan, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Lily Rabe et al. at MTC Gala

Co-hosts for the gala were Tate Donovan, currently starring in MTC’s production of Good People, and Lily Rabe, who starred in MTC’s 2009 production of The American Plan.

The evening featured performances by Laura Benanti, Curt Bouril, Kerry Butler, Montego Glover, Mandy Gonzalez, Brian Stokes Mitchell, as well as cast members from Baby It’s You, Rain, and Garret Sorenson and Jeremy Cohen, who performed a selection from MTC’s upcoming production of Terrence McNally’s Master Class.

Attendees of the celebration included a variety of MTC’s playwrights of past and present, including Liz Flahive, Jeffrey Hatcher, Zoe Kazan, David Lindsay-Abaire, Donald Margulies, Eric Simonson, and Alfred Uhry. Also present was actor Patrick Carroll, currently appearing in Good People.
