The Vineyard Theater celebrated the opening of its world premiere production of Christopher Shinn’s new play
Picked on Wednesday, April 20. Michael Wilson has directed the production.
The play is about a young actor cast by a legendary director in a big-budget Hollywood film, only to discover that he’s not prepared for what comes next. The cast includes Mark Blum, Michael Stahl-David, Donna Hanover, Tom Lipinski and Liz Stauber.
Guests at the opening night performance included Elizabeth Ashley, Emily Bergl, Brandon Victor Dixon, Colman Domingo, Marin Ireland, Adam Rapp, Ana Reeder, Pablo Schreiber with wife Jessica, Leigh Silverman, John Patrick Shanley, Sharon Washington, Katherine Waterston, and Isiah Whitlock, Jr., along with the Vineyard’s executive director Jennifer Garvey Blackwell.
