Jan Ravens hosted Almeida Up Close, the Almeida Theatre’s fundraising gala at One Mayfair, on February 23.

Performers included Daniel Evans, Josie Lawrence, Jenny Jules, Jonathan Pryce, Jenna Russell, Samantha Spiro, Meera Syal, the Young Friends of the Almeida and award-winning theatre company Inspector Sands.

Indhu Rubasingham directed this evening of fine dining and cabaret, which included music by Stephen Sondheim and Amy Winehouse.

Among the attendees were Michael Attenborough, Fiona Barratt-Campbell, Kieran Bew, Sian Brooke, Tom Burke, Sol Campbell, and Jonathan Tyler.
