At a photo call for the upcoming Broadway revival of the Maury Yeston-Arthur Kopit musical Nine, star Antonio Banderas seemed to be on top of the world. Here he is, cutting up for our photographer.

Broadway and TV star Jane Krakowski is one of Banderas’s beauteous ladies in the show.

The fabulous Miss Rivera also made the scene at the Drama League Salute to Jerry Orbach — Billy Flynn to her Velma Kelly in the original Broadway production of Chicago — at the Pierre Hotel on February 24.

Mrs. Robinson no more: Kathleen Turner appeared in a reading of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” as part of the Food For Thought: Lunch Hour Theatre series at the National Arts Club yesterday (February 26).

Turner also co-starred with Simon Jones in a Food For Thought reading of Agatha Christie’s “The Rats.”

Andrea McArdle, the orginal Annie, shone in a Drama Dept. benefit performance of songs from Carole King’s classic album Tapestry at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on February 24…

…as did Mary Bond Davis, one of the stars of Hairspray.
