Nicole Kidman to Star in David Lindsay-Abaire-Penned Film Adaptation of The Family Fang

Nicole Kidman will star in a film version of The Family Fang, adapted from the Kevin Wilson bestseller by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, according to Deadline.com.

The work focuses on a couple of performance artists and their children.

Kidman starred in Lindsay-Abaire’s own film adaption of his play Rabbit Hole, receiving an Oscar nomination for her performance. She appeared on Broadway in The Blue Room and won the Academy Award for The Hours. She also co-starred in the film version of the Broadway musical Nine.

Lindsay-Abaire won the Pulitzer for Rabbit Hole. He received Tony nominations for Rabbit Hole, Good People, and Shrek the Musical.
