Logan Marshall-Green to Play Tennessee Williams in Lonely Hunter Film

Stage veteran Logan Marshall-Green will take on the role of playwright Tennessee Williams in the upcoming film, Lonely Hunter, according to Deadline.com.

Based on the life of novelist Carson McCullers, this Full Moon Films production will star the previously reported Jena Malone as McCullers. The screenplay is co-written by playwright Sarah Schulman, whose stage works include the play Carson McCullers (Historically Inaccurate), and Deborah Kampmeier, who is directing the film.

Marshall-Green received a 2007 Drama League nomination for his work in King Lear and Pig Farm. His other stage credits include The Hallway Trilogy, Dog Sees God and Swimming in the Shallows.
