John Turturro to Direct One-Acts by Woody Allen, Ethan Coen, Elaine May on Broadway

John Turturro will direct Relatively Speaking, a triple bill of comedies by Woody Allen, Ethan Coen and Elaine May, to begin previews in September for an official opening in October. Casting and theater details will be announced in the near future.

The show will be comprised of Allen’s Honeymoon Hotel, Coen’s Talking Cure and May’s George Is Dead.


Turturro has appeared on Broadway in Yasmina Reza’s Life (x) 3 and Off-Broadway in Souls of Naples and Danny in the Deep Blue Sea, for which he won a Theatre World Award. His film credits include Coen’s Brother Where Art Thou? and Barton Fink, as well as the Transformers series and The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.
