In Nyack, It’s Hooray for 100 Years of Hollywood

A bevy of musical theater performers will gather in Nyack, New York to offer great songs from the movies in a show titled 100 Years of Hollywood, May 16-18.

The song and dance tribute will feature musical direction by Neil Berg, who composed Off-Broadway’s The Prince and the Pauper. It will include songs from Beauty and the Beast, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Fame, Goldfinger, Jailhouse Rock, Meet Me in St. Louis, Singin’ in the Rain, That’s Entertainment, and Titanic.

Among those scheduled to perform are Robert Evan (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Misérables), Carmen Ruby Floyd (Little Ham, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Crowns) Jeff Garner (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Misérables), Alan H. Green (Miss Saigon, Smokey Joe’s Café), Rita Harvey (The Phantom of the Opera), Jeri Sager (Cats), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar), and Alec Timerman (Minnelli on Minelli, the Tyne Daly revival of Gypsy), plus opera star Bob Mattern and cabaret star John P. Schutz.

100 Years of Hollywood will be presented at the Helen Hayes Theatre Company (123 Main Street, Nyack, NY) for three performances, May 16-18. Tickets are $30-$40 and may be purchased by calling the box office at 845-358-6333 or by visiting the website www.hhtco.org.
