Deborah Cox, Constantine Maroulis, Shirley MacLaine Set for La Mirada Theatre’s 2012-2013 Season

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts has announced their 2012-2013 season.


Jekyll & Hyde by Frank Wildhorn, Steve Cuden and Leslie Bricusse will run September 7-30. Jeff Calhoun will direct. Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox will star in this previously reported Broadway-bound production.

The Winter Wonderettes, created and directed by Roger Bean, will run December 7-30. Boeing Boeing, written by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverley Cross & Francis Evans, will run January 18-February 10, 2013.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers will run April 12-May 5. The musical has a book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, with music by Johnny Mercer, Gene De Paul, Al Kasha, and Joel Hirschhorn.



The Southern California regional premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winner Next to Normal will run May 31- June 23. The show has music by Tom Kitt and book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey.


On May 18, there will be two performances of An Evening with Shirley MacLaine, an icon of the stage and screen.
