Cast Announced for "The Broadway Musicals of 1953"

The cast for the next installment in the Broadway by the Year series, “The Broadway Musicals of 1953,” has been announced.

Performing in the show will be Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins’ Broadway), Julia Murney (A Class Act), Andrea Burns (Saturday Night), Davis Gaines (The Phantom of the Opera), multiple MAC Award winner Scott Coulter, and Ed Staudenmayer (Forbidden Broadway). The show will be directed by Peter Flynn and will have musical direction by Ross Patterson. TheaterMania’s own Scott Siegel is the creator, writer, and host of the Town Hall series.

Among the 1953 musicals from which songs may be chosen for the show are Wonderful Town, Can Can, Kismet, Me & Juliet, Carnival in Flanders, and Hazel Flagg. “The Broadway Musicals of 1953” will be performed at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) on Monday, May 12 at 8pm. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the box office.
