The Broadway Church Ladies — Leilani Bryant, Yolanda Wyns, and Teresa Stanley — will perform at the Triad on Saturday, July 17 at 7pm.
The trio first worked together in Broadway’s The Color Purple, appearing as the reoccurring characters of Church Ladies whose contrasting personalities blended gossip, song, and comedy. Now that the show has closed, the women have taken on the name of The Broadway Church Ladies, and continue to perform together.
