American Idiot, La Cage Aux Folles, Wicked Part of Broadway Las Vegas Season

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced productions for its first ever, full-length Broadway Las Vegas season.

First up is Wicked (August 29-October 7, 2012), based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, and featuring a score by Stephen Schwartz.

Also part of the season will be The Addams Family (November 20-25), Anything Goes (February 5-10), West Side Story (February 26-March 3), Shrek The Musical (March 19-24), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (April 16-21), Billy Elliot the Musical (May 14-19), and Catch Me If You Can (June 18-23).

In addition, there will be two shows offered as “Season Specials,” and can be added to subscriptions. These include La Cage Aux Folles (August 14-19, 2012), headlined by George Hamilton, and the Green Day musical, American Idiot (June 11-16, 2013).
