Jim Dale, Melissa Errico, Tovah Feldshuh, Malcolm Gets, Linda Lavin, and More Set for Broadway for a New America

Additional casting has been announced for Broadway for a New America — Standing Up for Marriage Equality and a Progressive Agenda for Change, a benefit concert for the Jewish Alliance for Change, that will take place at Peter Norton Symphony Space on Monday, April 13 at 7pm. The show will be directed by Sara Louise Lazarus, and will feature music direction by Lawrence Yurman.

Jim Dale will host the event, which will feature appearances by Richard Belzer, John Bucchino, Mike Burstyn, Melissa Errico, Tovah Feldshuh, Malcolm Gets, David Green, Ann Hampton Callaway, Judy Kaye, Robert Klein, Lina Lavin, Anne Meara, Nellie McKay, Phyllis Newman, Seth Rudetsky, Billy Stritch, The Broadway Boys, The Broadway Tenors, The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, and The Accidentals.

Additional speakers at the event will include Steven Goldstein, Chair of Garden State Equality; Rabbis J. Rolando Matalon and Marcelo Bronstein of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, New York City; Evan Wolfson, Founder & Executive Director of Freedom to Marry; Ron Zacchi, Executive Director of Marriage Equality New York; and Wayne Besen, Founder and Executive Director of Truth Wins Out .
