Actors from three Broadway shows performed at the October 29 opening of New York’s only free-admission ice skating rink, Citi Pond at Bryant Park, now in its sixth season.

Hugh Panaro, who stars in the title role of The Phantom of the Opera, sang “Music of the Night.” Promises, Promises cast members Sarah Jane Everman, Margot de la Barre, Nikki Renee Daniels, and Kristen Beth Williams sang “Say A Little Prayer for You.” Cast members from Million Dollar Quartet — Levi Kreis, Christopher Grant, Eddie Clendening, Robert Lyons, Larry Lelli, and Corey Kaiser — performed a medley of songs from that show.

In addition, the event featured ice skating performances by U.S. National synchronized skating champions, The Haydenettes; 2002 Olympic Gold Medal figure skater Sarah Hughes; and Taylor Grant, Allyson Ritchie, and Tyrell Guene from ITNY: Ice Theatre of New York.
