Adrien Brody, Marcia Gay Harden, Lucy Liu, William Petersen, et al. Set for Detachment Film

Tony Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and stage veterans Lucy Liu and William Petersen will star opposite Oscar winner Adrien Brody in Tony Kaye’s indie drama Detachment, according to the The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, written by Carl Lund, centers on a normally detached substitute teacher (Brody) who becomes invested in the students and teachers at the troubled school where he works and grows close to a homeless teen working as a prostitute.

The cast will also include Christina Hendricks, Bryan Cranston, and James Caan.
