Sam Harris and Nicole Parker Part of Broadway at Birdland‘s February Lineup

Tony Award nominee Sam Harris and Wicked‘s Nicole Parker will make appearances at Birdland as part of the venue’s Broadway at Birdland concert series.

Harris will offer a concert at the cabaret venue on February 1 at 7pm in which he will perform a mix of Broadway hits, standards, and pop classics. Todd Schroeder will serve as musical director for the evening.

Harris received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in The Life. His other Broadway credits include Grease and The Producers. He first came to fame as the winner on Star Search, and his recordings include Sam Harris, Sam-I-Am, Different Stages, Standard Time, and Free.

On Sunday, February 7 at 6pm, Parker will perform Suitcase Full of Lies at 7pm. Her solo show centers on a fictional television icon, Jillane Jenkins, who is performing her own one-woman show.

In addition to appearing as Elphaba in Wicked, Parker’s Broadway credits include Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me on Broadway, Romeo and Juliet Musical in Chicago, and The Magic Flute in Los Angeles. Other credits include six seasons on MadTV and Prop 8 Musical.
