New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Noël Coward Exhibition Extends

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center has extended the exhibition, Star Quality: The World of Noël Coward. The show, co-presented with the Noël Coward Foundation, will now run March 12-August 12, 2012. (It was previously due to close June 9.)

The exhibit, to be shown in the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery, will include photographs, programs, scripts, costumes, personal effects, memorabilia, and other objects, many previously unseen; as well as audio and video components.

Coward’s numerous plays include Blithe Spirit, Present Laughter, Private Lives, and Design for LivingBrief Encounter, seen earlier this season on Broadway and based upon his screenplay of the same name.

A series of related public and educational programs will be presented city wide, in conjunction with the exhibition.
