Zach Shaffer to Direct Gotham Stage Company’s Thanksgiving Reading

Zach Shaffer will direct a reading of Sara Farrington’s Thanksgiving, to be offered on April 11 at the Players Theatre. The offering is part of Gotham Stage Company SPRINGboard Reading Series.
The play focuses on a family’s attempt at a normal American Thanksgiving despite something being obviously wrong. Casting for the reading will be announced shortly.
As an actor, Shaffer has appeared on Broadway in A View From The Bridge and The Man Who Came to Dinner.
The series will also include a reading of Ethan Lipton’s Luther, directed by Hayley Finn, to be offered on May 9, and one additional reading to be offered on June 13.
