Broadway's Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 Announces General Rush Policy
Discount tickets will be available at the Winter Garden Theatre for each of the show's parts.
The Broadway transfer of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall: Parts One & Two has announced a general rush ticket policy. For each performance, $39 tickets will be available that day at the box office of the Winter Garden Theatre. There is a limit of two tickets per person.
Wolf Hall is set to begin performances on March 20 at the Winter Garden in advance of an official opening on Thursday, April 9.
The two plays are adapted by Mike Poulton from Hilary Mantel's Man Booker Prize-winning novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. Set in the 1500s, the plays tell the story of Thomas Cromwell and his rise to power to become the right-hand man of Henry VIII, as well as Cromwell's interactions with Anne Boleyn. The plays are directed by Jeremy Herrin.
The production includes a company of more than 20 actors and features scenic and costume design by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Paule Constable (Part 1) and David Plater (Part 2), sound design by Nick Powell, and music by Stephen Warbeck.
