The Gallery Players has announced casting for The Drowsy Chaperone, to run January 29 – February 20. Hans Friedrichs will direct the production, which will have choreography by Christine O’Grady and musical direction by Kevin Lawson.

With songs by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, the show pays tribute to a Golden Age of musical comedy as a lonely man imagines one his favorite shows coming to life while listening to its original cast recording.

The company will feature Whitney Branan, Jennifer DiDonato, Tauren Hagans, Robert Anthony Jones, Edward Juvier, Lorinne Lampert, Aaron J. Libby, Jake Mendes, Trey Mitchell, Jan-Peter Pedross, Colin Pritchard, Megan Rosenblatt, Chloe Sabin, Dawn Trautman, Craig Treubert, Tyler Wallach, and Eric Weaver.

The creative team will include Jared Rutherford (scenic design), Ryan J. Moller (costume design), Brad Peterson (lighting design), and Kim Fuhr-Carbone (sound design).
