Writer/director William Wyatt’s When Joey Married Bobby, which opened last month at Theatre 80 St. Marks, is transferring to the Roy Arias Theatre in the Times Square Arts Center, beginning March 12.

In this comedy, Bright-eyed hunk Joey has finally met the man of his dreams and ready to take a plunge into marriage. But the thought of a gay wedding has Joey’s southern socialite mother Sarah Edwards worried about her chances of winning “Christian of the Year.”

The cast stars drag legend Lady Bunny (Chartiy Divine), Tina McKissick (Sarah Edwards), and former Detroit Tiger pitcher Matthew Pender (Joey Edwards), along with Jennifer Banner Sobers(Viola Duncan), Collin Biddle (Eddie Edwards), Deborah Johnstone (Ivy Edwards), Rebecca Dealy (Sally Joe Edwards), William Yoder (Dan Frier), Richard James Porter (Henry).

The creative team includes Stephen Petrilli (lighting/sound), Delgar (set), and John Gibson (costumes).
