VIDEO FLASH: Liza Minnelli on TCM’s Private Screenings

In anticipation of the special Private Screenings: Liza Minnelli, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) has released a sneak preview of the legendary star’s conversation with host Robert Osborne. As previously reported, the special will air on TCM on December 11 at 10pm, and will be repeated at various times thereafter.

Among the topics to be covered in the special are Minnelli’s childhood and her parents, actress Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli. In conjunction with the special, TCM will also air two days worth of films starring Minnelli, as well as movies featuring the work of her parents, including Cabaret (1972), An American in Paris (1951), Gigi (1958), The Pirate (1949), Meet Me in St. Louis (1944). The Clock, Madame Bovary, The Bad the Beautiful, Home from the Hill and A Matter of Time, as well as the 1987 documentary Minnelli on Minnelli.
