VIDEO FLASH: Cheyenne Jackson, Jason Mraz, Billy Burke Discuss The Sound of Music at VH1 Save the Music Gala

VH1 Save the Music Foundation’s annual gala was held on Monday, November 8 at Cipriani Wall Street. The event honored Oscar winner Julie Andrews and singers John Legend and John Mayer.

Prior to the event, Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson — who hosted the benefit — along with singer-songwriter Jason Mraz and Twilight actor Billy Burke spoke to the cameras about the effect of the movie musical The Sound of Music, in which Andrews played Maria von Trapp, had on their lives.
