The U.S. premiere of John Scott’s Fall and Recover, at La MaMa E.T.C.’s Ellen Stewart Theatre, will now run March 25-April 9 (instead of the previously March 17-April 3). Press notes cite that the delay is due “to issues with Homeland Security.”

The work is based on the experiences and stories of survivors of torture in Africa, Asia and Rumania, and features the personal accounts of 11 survivors transformed into a nonnarrative dance with the memories, stories and emotional responses suggested rather than literally expressed.

The show, by Irish choreographer Scott, is part of the Imagine Ireland festival.
