UPDATED: Obie Award winner Young Jean Lee will present encore performances of her song cycle We’re Gonna Die at Lincoln Center’s Claire Tow Theater from August 5-17. These performances follow a four-performance run at the theater last September.

July 23, 2012 – Young Jean Lee will perform in her Obie Award-winning piece, We’re Gonna Die for a four performance run presented by LCT3 at Lincoln Center’s newest stage, the Claire Tow Theater, September 12-15 with all performances at 9pm.

Written and performed by Lee, the show features music by Future Wife, choreography by Faye Driscoll and direction by Paul Lazar. In it, Lee takes the stage with her band Future Wife (Mike Hanf, Andrew Hoepfner, Nick Jenkins, Ben Kupstas) in a life-affirming show about the thing everyone has in common: WE’RE GONNA DIE.

The show premiered last year in a production produced by 13P at Joe’s Pub.
