UPDATED: Lisa Emery and Rich Sommer Join David Morse in Roundabout's The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin
Stage veterans Christopher Denham and Sarah Goldberg will round out the cast.
UPDATED: Drama Desk Award nominee Lisa Emery (Relatively Speaking) and Mad Men star Rich Sommer (Broadway's Harvey) will complete the cast of Steven Levinson's The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin. The pair, who will take on the roles of "Karen Brown-Canedy," and "Chris Wyatt," join David Morse in the title role, Sarah Goldberg as "Katie Nicholson" and Christopher Denham as "James Durnin."
Additionally, the production, directed by Scott Ellis (Harvey), will feature designs by Beowulf Boritt (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting), and Obadiah Eaves (original music and sound).
MARCH 21: House's David Morse, Christopher Denham (The Lieutenant of Inishmore), and Sarah Goldberg (Clybourne Park) will star in Roundabout Theatre Company's production of the new Steven Levenson play The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin. Scott Ellis (Harvey) will direct the play, which will begin previews on May 31, with a June 27 opening.
The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin takes a look at the price people pay for defaulting on those they love. After serving some time for a white collar crime, Durnin is determined to win back respect, but he rips apart his family and his chance at a new life in the process.
David Morse's Broadway credits include On the Waterfront and The Seafarer. He is also known for his TV and movie credits, such as The Green Mile, House, and The Hurt Locker.
