Casting has been announced for the final weeks of the Culture Project’s tenth anniversary revival of The Exonerated, which will run at 45 Bleecker through December 2. The production is directed by Bob Balaban.

Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen’s play is a dramatization of the real-life stories of six individuals who were sentenced to death and later freed amidst overwhelming evidence of their innocence.

The company is made up of rotating cast members who step into certain roles on a weekly basis, as well as a non-rotating cast of six actors.

Actress Trudie Styler will perform in the show for the remainder of the run. She will be joined by singer Steve Earle and actors Ron Cephas Jones (Storefront Church) and Anthony Arkin (I’m Not Rappaport) for the November 20-25 performances, and Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters, Obie Award winner Kathleen Chalfant (Wit), and actor Chris Sarandon (The Light in the Piazza) for the November 27-December 2 performances.

The non-rotating company of six includes Jim Bracchitta (Prosecutor 2), Amelia Campbell (Sandra Cook), Bruce Kronenberg (Prosecutor 1), Curtis McClarin (David Keaton), April Yvette Thompson (Georgia Hayes), and JD Williams (Robert Earl Hayes).
