Tracy Shayne to Join Broadway’s Chicago
Tracy Shayne will star as Roxie Hart in the record-breaking Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre beginning Saturday, April 28.
Shayne’s Broadway credits include Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Cosette in Les Misérables, Bebe in the original production of A Chorus Line and Fosse. She can be heard on the Grammy Award-winning symphonic recording of Les Misérables.
Shayne replaces Christie Brinkley, who as previously reported, will conclude her Broadway return engagement on Friday, April 27, prior to making her national tour debut with Chicago.
On Broadway, Chicago also stars Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony Yazbeck as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron “Mama” Morton.
