Tony Winner Christian Borle and Tony Nominee Kathleen Chalfant to Cochair The ANT, Made & Played in America for American National Theatre
Broadway's Jacqueline Antaramian and Richard Topol will also take part in the event.
Tony Award winner Christian Borle (The Sound of Music Live!) and Drama Desk Award winner Kathleen Chalfant (House of Cards) will cochair the American National Theatre's The ANT, Made & Played in America event on January 13 at the Algonquin Hotel.
The evening will feature live music, cocktails, and scenes from Mark Harelik's plays, The Immigrant and The Legacy, which the American National Theatre will produce in repertory in 2014. Chalfant will be joined in performance by Jacqueline Antaramian, Richard Topol, and Russell Posner, who make up the cast of those productions. Tony nominee Randal Myler directs The Immigrant, and Laird Williamson helms The Legacy.
The American National Theatre's mission is to "identify and present distinguished new American plays and musicals with their original companies and creative teams at a major theatre venue in New York." Stage and screen veteran Sean Cullen serves as founder and producing artistic director.
