Tony Nominees Jan Maxwell, Kristine Nielsen, and More Celebrate Potomac Theatre Project’s 27th Anniversary Season

Maxwell stars in Howard Barker’s The Castle, one of PTP/NYC’s 27th anniversary season productions.

Off-Broadway’s Potomac Theatre Project celebrated its landmark 27th opening night at New York City’s Maritime Hotel.

Among the evening’s guests were Kristine Nielsen, the Tony-nominated star of Broadway’s Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike; Stephanie Janssen (Death of a Salesman); and five-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Jan Maxwell (Follies), who currently stars in PTP/NYC’s production of Howard Barker’s The Castle. Maxwell celebrated alongside her castmates, including Broadway veterans Jennifer Van Dyck (Hedda Gabler) and Quentin Maré (Rock ‘n’ Roll). The cast of Caryl Churchill’s Serious Money, the company’s second season offering, came out to mark the occasion as well, joining in the celebration of PTP/NYC’s 27th year of programming.
