American Idol XIII has announced the team of artists who will shepherd new contestants through the 2014 season. Tony-nominated and Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning performer Harry Connick Jr. will join the ranks of judges with returning judge Jennifer Lopez and previously announced Grammy-winning country singer Keith Urban.

This season’s team will also include American Idol veteran Randy Jackson as an in-house mentor as well as longtime host Ryan Seacrest.

“I have always been a huge fan of American Idol and really enjoyed my time as a mentor on the show, and I am honored that they’ve asked me to be a judge this season. As an entertainer, I am truly excited to bring my perspective to American Idol, and to help emerging performers find their way,” said Connick in a statement.

Idol hopefuls will meet the new team at auditions in Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Detroit; Omaha, Nebraska; Salt Lake City; and San Francisco.
