Tina Benko, Marisa Tomei, Frank Whaley, et al. Set for New Group’s Marie and Bruce

The New Group has announced complete casting for Wallace Shawn’s Marie and Bruce, to run March 14 – May 7 at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row. Scott Elliott will direct the production, which as previously announced, will star Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei as Marie.
The play focuses on what happens on the day that Marie finally resolves to tell her charming and impossibly positive husband Bruce that she’s had enough of the marriage. The company will also feature Tina Benko (Janet), Russell G. Jones (Nils/Bert), Cindy Katz (Ann/Waiter), Devin Ratray (Herb), Alok Tewari (Ralph/Ed), Adam Trese (Frank), Frank Whaley (Bruce), and Alison Wright (Gloria).
The creative team will include Derek McLane (scenic design), Jeff Mahshie (costume design), Jason Lyons (lighting design), and Shane Rettig (sound design).
