Tiler Peck and Robert Lindsay to Star in Little Dancer Reading

The Ahrens and Flaherty musical will play Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre.

New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck and Tony and Olivier Award winner Robert Lindsay will star in a private industry reading of the Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical Little Dancer on Friday, June 8. Susan Stroman will direct and choreograph.

Peck will reprise the role of ballerina Marie van Goethem, which she originated during the musical's 2014 mounting at the Kennedy Center. Lindsay will take on the role of sculptor Edgar Degas.

Peck and Lindsay will be joined by Kate Baldwin, Karen Ziemba, Dee Hoty, Christopher Gurr, Kyle Harris, Scarlett Strallen, and Sami Bray. The ensemble will be made up of Polly Baird, Sissy Bell, Lauren Blackman, Jim Borstelmann, Nina Goldman, Megan Masako Haley, Heather Hill, Seán Martin Hingston, Jolina Javier, Barbara Marineau, Olivia Puckett, Arbender Robinson, and Eric Santagata.

This reading is ahead of a full production at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, which runs March 22-April 14, 2019. The production will feature scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Ken Billington, sound design by Kai Harada, projection design by Benjamin Pearcy, hair and wig design by Paul Huntley, makeup design by Anne Ford-Coates, orchestrations by Doug Besterman and Larry Hochman, dance arrangements by Sam Davis, and vocal arrangements by Stephen Flaherty.
