Theatre East to Present Bennett Windheim’s Normalcy
Theatre East is set to present Bennett Windheim’s Normalcy, August 31-September 23 at Peter Jay Sharp Theatre. Benard Cummings will direct.
Normalcy tackles themes of identity, race, terrorism, marriage, and the media, all through the lens of one white, affluent couple’s attempt to make the choice to adopt a black child.
There will be a series of talk-backs throughout the run, with the author, the producers and director, as well as experts in the respective field of this emotionally charged play.
