The Scottsboro Boys will play its final performance at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway on December 12. The production, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, will have played 49 performances and 29 previews.

With music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a book by David Thompson, the piece explores the infamous "Scottsboro" case of the 1930's when a group of African-American teenagers were unjustly accused of attacking two white women -- and the boys' attempts to prove their innocence.

The company features John Cullum (Interlocutor), Joshua Henry (Haywood Patterson), Colman Domingo (Mr. Bones), Forrest McClendon (Mr. Tambo), Sharon Washington (The Lady), Josh Breckenridge (Olen Montgomery), Derrick Cobey (Andy Wright), Jeremy Gumbs (Eugene Williams), Rodney Hicks (Clarence Norris), Kendrick Jones (Willie Roberson), James T. Lane (Ozie Powell and Ruby Bates), Julius Thomas III (Roy Wright), and Christian Dante White (Charles Weems and Victoria Price), along with E. Clayton Cornelious, JC Montgomery, Clinton Roane and Robin S. Walker.

The creative team includes Beowulf Borritt (scenic design), Toni-Leslie James (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Peter Hylenski (sound design).
