After a summer hiatus, the not-for-profit Roundabout Theatre Company’s acclaimed revival of The Pajama Game will return to Broadway this fall as a commercial production. Jeffrey Richards, James Fuld, Jr., and Scott Landis will be the producers. No theater has been announced, nor has any casting, but current stars Harry Connick. Jr, Kelli O’Hara, Michael McKean will not appear in the show.

The initial engagement of the production at the American Airlines Theatre will end on June 11. The run is sold out but five benefit performances have been added, June 13-17 at 7pm. The Actors’ Fund of America, the New Orleans Habitat Musicans’ Village, and the Roundabout’s Education Programs & Musical Theatre Fund will receive some of the proceeds from these extra performances. Tickets range in price from $250 for box seats to $2,500 for VIP seats plus a post-show dessert reception and a gift bag.

The Pajama Game also stars Peter Benson, Roz Ryan, Joyce Chittick, Michael McCormick, Richard Poe, and Megan Lawrence. Choreographed and directed by Kathleen Marshall, the production has received seven Drama Desk Award nominations and eight Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical.
