The Meeting, hosted by Justin Sayre, will honor Andy Warhol muse Candy Darling at Joe's Pub on November 16. The show will feature special guests including Tony-nominated performance artist Justin Vivian Bond and singer Bridget Barkan. Tracy Stark will serve as music director.

A combination of outrageous comedy, politics, and cultural commentary, The Meeting features an iconic artist or cultural work held in high esteem by the gay community. Candy Darling was known as a "Warhol Superstar" and starred in his films Flesh and Women in Revolt. A pioneering trans woman, she was a muse for the band The Velvet Underground and died at the age of 29 in 1974.

Additionally, the first podcast of Sayre's International Order of Sodomites, titled Sparkle & Circulate with Justin Sayre, is available for download now by clicking here.
