The History Boys to Return to the West End in December
Set in the 1980s, The History Boys questions the purpose and means of education. The play has won numerous prizes including the Tony, Evening Standard, Oliver, Critics' Choice, and Whatsonstage.com Theater's Choice Awards.
The show, which premiered at the National Theatre in 2004, was originally directed by Nicholas Hytner. The production is recreated by Paul Miller and designed by Paul Crowley. The cast will feature Desmond Barrit, Elizabeth Bell, Tim Delap, Daniel Fine, Andrew Hawley, Ryan Hawley, Thomas Howes, Danny Kirrane, Alton Letto, Sam Phillips, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett.
