Steven Brinberg and Julie Wilson have been added to the December lineup of cabaret performances at 59E59 Theaters’ E:Café.

Brinberg will bring his acclaimed show Simply Barbra to the space on Saturday, December 9. Wilson, the first lady of cabaret, will perform on December 23, 29 and 30; her program will include selections by Cole Porter, Noël Coward, Cy Coleman, Harold Arlen, and other greats.

As previously reported, the series will begin with British songstress Barb Jungr singing songs by Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Jacques Brel, et al. (December 5-8). She will be followed by Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford, best known for their musical I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking it on the Road (December 10, 12, and 19), and MAC Award-winning comedian Angela LaGreca (December 13-16).

Next on the slate is former Tony Award nominee Penny Fuller (December 17, 20-22); she will sing numbers from shows she appeared in, such as Applause and Cabaret, including a song that was written especially for her to sing as Sally Bowles in the latter musical but never made it into the show. Finally, Heather MacRae, whose Broadway credits include Hair and Falsettos, will reprise her critically acclaimed show Songs For My Father: A Tribute to Gordon MacRae (December 26-29).

The performance schedule for the above shows is 8:30pm Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30pm Friday through Sunday. In addition, pianist/singer Daryl Sherman will perform every Friday and Saturday at 10pm, December 8-30, offering selections from her new CD, Guess Who’s in Town.

Tickets range in price from $14 to $25, and there is a $10 drink minimum for all shows. For more information, visit 59e59.org.
